Narnia is Latin for a small town in Italy called Narni that is between Rome and Assisi

The series was first published around the 1950's, making that the books were being written during World War 2

Conection to our world

Because of a lot of the issues that were going while C.S Lewis was experiencing, he ended up adding a lot of elements, like operation Pied piper and The Blitz
