Through this course, we received instruments that will aid us when facing critical decisions in our future professional life. To further develop my skill and acquire expertise in my bachelor's degree in graphic design, I opted to enroll in a master's for my short-term goals. The master's degree will specialize in Illustration or a more general multidisciplinary in graphic design. This decision will provide me with a step further in my long-term goals. Another short-term goal is to expand my illustration works and reach a level where I can open a small online business shop to sell said works in different formats. This shop will serve as a passive income to continue with my certification in graphic design and arts. In addition, the shop will expand my social networking and develop my brand as an illustrator.

Once I have achieved my academic pursuits, I would like to assist others in accomplishing their educational goals as a professor. As a professor, I will utilize my knowledge, skills, and perspective to aid other aspiring designers to advance in their potential. There is a need for more educators in the graphic design area, and I will like to contribute. As I reach a level of stability, I will pursue my goal of opening a coffee establishment. This business goal has been accompanying me throughout my youth growth. It is odd to see a drastic difference between the selection of studies and the business industry. Why must we restrain ourselves and nitpick our goals when there is only one life?

During the course, there were diverse subjects discussed that will assist me throughout my professional stages. Topics such as resume creation, interview preparations, and communication skills will aid in pursuing and obtaining a job. The pointers lectured provided insight on what to avoid, what to improve, and how to develop an image to be appealing as a potential candidate for the job position desired. In addition, the interview practice and design exercise assisted by simulating a professional experience that allowed me to rehearse. The course also allowed me the opportunity to generate LinkedIn and Behance to enhance my professional image.
