International Children’s Book Day 2023

Each year IBBY (International Board on Books for Young Children) spreads a message for books. The chosen theme for 2023 is ‘I am a book, read me’, and IBBY Greece is responsible for that.

. The poster and the message is the result of a collaboration between author Vagelis Iliopoulos and illustrator Photini Stephanidi. Together, they wanted to celebrate the power of children’s books in promoting values of equality, diversity and inclusion, as well as connecting people through tolerance and understanding.

Let’s read the message with our students and spread it to our schools!!
