Interpretation des Bildes

Beispiel

1. Allgemeine Beschreibung (Einleitung) Bei der Bildbeschreibung beginnst du mit der allgemeinen Beschreibung des Bildes. Du gibst kurz diese wichtigen Informationen an:

• Bildart: Ist es eine Fotografie, ein Gemälde, eine Karikatur oder ein Comic?
• Inhalt: Was kannst du auf den ersten Blick sehen?

Beispiel: "In this photograph I can see a a man walking his dog in the forest."

2. Beschreibung von Details (Hauptteil) Im nächsten Schritt beschreibst du das Bild so genau wie möglich. Achte auf Details! Diese Fragen solltest du beantworten:

• Was ist der Hauptteil des Bildes? (Wer oder was ist die Hauptfigur in diesem Bild?)
• Bei Menschen: Was machen die Personen im Bild? Wie sehen sie aus und was ist auffällig?
• Bei Dingen: Welches Ding ist zu sehen? Wie sehen sie genau aus?
• Gibt es auffällige Details im Bild?
• Wer oder was ist im Vorder- und Hintergrund?
• Wen oder was siehst du links, recht, oben oder unten?

2. Interpretation (Schluss) Im letzten Schritt beschreibst du deine eigenen Gedanken und Emotionen, die das Bild auslöst. Diese Fragen helfen dir:

• Hat das Bild eine Botschaft? (z.B. Symbole)
• Wie wirkt das Bild auf dich? (z.B. Welche Atmosphäre hat das Bild?)
• In welchem Rahmen ist das Bild entstanden? (z.B. Was ist davor geschehen? Was könnte noch geschehen?)

So könntest du mit den Sätzen beginnen:

• It is a symbol for ......
• The atmosphere is ......
• The picture reminds me of .....
• The colours in this picture create a ....... atmosphere
• It could be that .....

2. Beschreibung von Details (Hauptteil) Im nächsten Schritt beschreibst du das Bild so genau wie möglich. Achte auf Details! Diese Fragen solltest du beantworten:

• Was ist der Hauptteil des Bildes? (Wer oder was ist die Hauptfigur in diesem Bild?)
• Bei Menschen: Was machen die Personen im Bild? Wie sehen sie aus und was ist auffällig?
• Bei Dingen: Welches Ding ist zu sehen? Wie sehen sie genau aus?

Beispiel: "The focus of the photograph is this woman in the middle of the picture. She is sitting in the grass at the shore ( dt.: Ufer) of the lake. She has her back to the camera. The woman is wearing a grey hat with a red and grey pattern (dt. Muster), a red/orange wind jacket and dark pants. In her left hand she is holding a dark water bottle. On her right side an orange backpack is lying on the ground, right behind her are her sunglasses and binoculars (dt. Fernglas)."

• Wer oder was ist im Hintergrund?
• Wen oder was siehst du links, rechts, oben oder unten?

"In the background the picture shows a grey lake and mountains. The lake is pretty big and runs from the left side of the picture all the way to the right side. The mountains behind the lake have different sizes. On the left side they are taller than on the right side. The mountains on the left side also have a dark green colour because there are trees growing on them. The other mountains have a brown and grey colour. The sky on top of the picture is cloudy and grey."

Some of the grass is higher than the other grass - for example right behind the backpack. On the right side of the picture you can see parts/branches of a tree. It has no leaves (dt. Blätter) and has a very dark colour."

Beispiel: " It seems that the picture shows a holiday photograph. The woman might be on a hiking holiday and is taking a break at the shore of the lake. The photograph was probably taken in winter, because there are no leaves on the tree and the woman is wearing warm clothes. The atmosphere in the picture is peaceful (dt. friedlich) because there are no other people in the photograph. There is only nature surrounding the woman and it seems to be very quiet."
