Kanye West the greatest artist of all time

For the people living behind the moon

Who is Kanye West?

Kanye Omari West is a 44 year old musician, designer and creative producer, who was born in Chicago, Illinois. He is the father of 4 children and the owner of his own brand "Yeezy"

Basically all his albums listed chronologically with a short comment from me which describes the album

His Discography

Diverging from the then-dominant gangster persona in hip hop, Kanyes lyrics concern themes of family, self-consciousness, materialism, religion, racism, and higher education

The College Dropout

Late Registration is the second of Kanye West's planned three education-themed studio albums and follows the major success of his 2004 release The College Dropout

Late Registration

On this album Kanye talks about others struggling to figure out their lives, all the while acknowledging that he's already achieved his own dreams. The message of Graduation is that's he's famous enough now to do what he wants, and not care how other people react.

808s & Heartbreak is part self-examination, part-exorcism of two tragic and life-defining moments for Kanye: the death of his mother, Donda West, on November 10, 2007 and the dissolution of his 18-month engagement to Alexis Phifer

808s and Heartbreak

My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy explores Kanyes status as a celebrity, consumer culture, racism, and the idealism of the American Dream

My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy

Jay-Z shared the meaning behind “Watch the Throne,” “It's just protecting the music and the culture. It's people that's in the forefront of the music. 'Watch the Throne,' like protect it

Watch The Throne

In this Kanye project you can hear his angry unfiltered emotions presented in Hip-Hop and partly punk-themed songs

It might seem odd that Kanye named an album The Life of Pablo in honor of a man named Paul, but it makes sense as “Pablo” is Spanish for “Paul.” The connection between the album and Saint Paul is especially strong as the album includes a track called “Saint Pablo.”

The Life of Pablo

"It's not an opposite. It's not 'I hate being bi-polar, it's awesome,' Kanye explained. "It drives more of how you really feel. Doesn't do a opposite thing. I think it's important for us to have open conversations about mental health, especially with me being black, because we never had therapists in the black community" - Kanye

Kids See Ghosts is the vessel with which sufferers of mental illness can find solace from the demons that haunt them and find hope in the story of two kids who became ghosts

Kids see Ghosts

This album follows a Christian theme, different from his usual work. Kanye described it as "an expression of the gospel"

Jesus Is King

The album is named after the rapper's late mother, Donda West, who died in 2007. Like Jesus is King its an more christian and gospel driven album

I know you said I should not use them, but here are they anyways

The pure sale figures

On the following pages I will show you examples of his impact in the Hip-Hop industry

His influence in Hip-Hop

This is a picture showing Kanye wearing a face mask. Shortly after he did it many other rappers started wearing them during performances

Travis Scott

Kanye not only made several albums himself, but he also was a creative director for many projects, which are critically acclaimed and known to be modern classics

Travis Scott is a very big name in the Industry and Kanye was the one that guided him and helped him reach the success he currently has. Despite it being his first album its still considered one of his best, if not his best album and I think the fact that Kanye was the creative producer on this project contributed a lot to this major success.

This great Playboi Carti project debuted at number 1 on the Billboard Top 100 Charts with Kanye´s help as an creative producer.

Whole Lotta Red

This has not got something to do with his musical legacy, but I still want to mention it to show Kanyes overall greatness
