- No english revolution- Historically influenced by the concept of social class- still born into good classes- significant change since the WW2 - stiff school system

Social classes

disadvantages

• low social classes live in bad conditions
• half of the population is in the lower class
• the school depends on social class
• inequality between social classes

advantages

• go up with education

• low classes value money, education,... more
• no major loss if high class dropps down

- nomadic groups migrated to india- priests introduced a simple caste system- white skinned people wanted to stand out from dark skinned natives- Hindu is a big part of the caste system

• lower class lives with bad conditions (but not so bad like in india)

• class systems are nearly all over the world
• classes are melted into each other
