THE PROTAGONIST IS AUGUST PULLMAN, HE IS TEN YEARS OLD. HE HAS BLUE EYES AND BLOND HAIR. HE HAS A RARE SYNDROME CALLED TREACHER COLLINS SYNDROME AND HE HAD 27 OPERATIONS TRYING TO MAKE HIS FACE LOOK BETTER. HE LIVES WITH HIS MOTHER ISABEL, HIS FATHER NATE, HIS SISTER OLIVIA AND HIS DOG, DARTH DAISY.

THINGS AUGUST LIKES:

AUGUST LIKES TO PLAY VIDEOGAMES ON XBOX AS A HOBBY AND TO WATCH STAR WARS IN HIS FREE TIME. HE ALSO LIKES TO RIDE HIS BIKE AND TO STAY WITH HIS DOG DARTH DAISY. HER NAME'S ''DARTH'' BECAUSE HIS FAVOURITE CHARACTER OF STAR WARS IS DARTH VADER.

HIS PERSONALITY:

AUGUST IS A VERY NICE AND KIND PERSON. HE IS FRIENDLY AND LOYAL. HE IS SIMPATIC AND FUNNY, HE CAN BRING ANYONE TO LAUGH. HE IS A RISKTAKER, HE LOVES TO DO KNEW THINGS AND ENJOY THEM.

THE PLOT:

IN THE AGE OF 2 YEARS OLD, AUGUST ALREADY HAD 27 FACIAL SURGERIES DUE TO HIS SYNDROME. HE NEVER WENT TO SCHOOL BECAUSE OF HIS CONDITIONS. WHEN HE BECOMES 10 HIS PARENTS DECIDE TO LET HIM GO TO SCHOOL WITH THE CONDITION THAT HE CAN CHOOSE TO STOP THE SCHOOL WHEN HE WANTS.

When August GOES for the first time to school he has been brought by Jack summer and Julian to visit it and to know where his classes are. Julian were a bit rude in the confronts of Auggie, Jack and Summer were friendly and kind.

when he starts going to school August gets bullied very often by much children and this gives him a break down of his moral. the only one who helps him always is his mother that tries to make him always stronger AND COURAGEOUS.

when his mother helps him to go through his bAD PERIOD WHERE HE GETS BULLIED, he starts to go to school again and he makes new friends, Jack AND SUMMER, the same who showed him the school, but Julian continues to bULLY him with the rest of the class

At the end, all people who know him understand that he's a good person, good-hearted and kind, so people start to accept him for how he is and they don't bully him anymore.

THE PROBLEM

The problem of the book, is that children find August strange because they've maybe never seen a kid with facial deformities and he gets bullied for how he looks like, AND THIS MAKES AUGGIE FEEL BAD AND UGLY. for this he wears always an astronauts helmet

THE SOLUTION

THE SOLUTION IS THAT CHILDREN start to ACCEPT AUGGIE FOR HOW HE ISand stop BULLYING him just because he looks different, and parents MUST TEACH their kids how to respect other people AND TO DON't discriminate them for how they look like
