Malta is an archipelago in the central Mediterranean that lies between Sicily and the North African coast. The capital is La Valletta. Malta is the smallest state of the European Union, there are 525.285 population.The official language is Maltés and English, although they also speak Italian.The currency is Euro and its government is a Democratic Republic.Malta has 3000 hours of sunshine per year with a minimum of 10ºC and maximum of 31ºC.The main religion is Catholicism.Europeans have free healthcare in Malta through the European Health Insurance Card.
