The Polymer Education Subcommittee (SPEd) invites YOU to be part of our the Polymer educational series on the IUPAC's YouTube Channel!
We are looking for:
NEW
CREATIVE
EDUCATIONAL
ORIGINAL
content related to polymer topics in video format.
The competition is open to all educational levels, individuals or groups. So, help us share our love for Polymer Chemistry with your creative and fun videos!
All submissions are welcome as long as they are follow our competition guidelines.
Eligibility
(groups up to 3 people and a tutor/teacher to supervise)
POSTGRADSand ECRs*
Postgraduates = Masters' and PhDsERCs – within 10 years after their PhD
UNDERGRADUATEstudents
(up to 2 people: 2 students or a student and a tutor/teacher)

The content of the video(s) you create will depend on the age/education group you belong to and must be focused on the following topics :

Demonstrate and explain a polymer-related experiment that you can do at home or one you carry out in the laboratory (remember, safety first!)
Explain through a video a polymer-related concept or some nomenclature rules from the list provided.
Tell us about an interesting polymer-discovery or an application or what your polymer research project is about!
The video must have a maximum duration of 3 minutes
The videos will be judged according to the following criteria:
- scientific content
- artistic/technical quality
- creativity & originality
- impact
The videos can be in any language, however subtitles in English must be included.
