Si tu souhaites venir en échange à la HE Vinci dans le cadre d'un programme de mobilité, veille à d’abord prendre contact avec le bureau international de ton établissement d’origine. Celui-ci enverra la liste des étudiants qu’il décide de sélectionner (incluant : nom, prénom, adresse e-mail, département d'études, dates de mobilité), par email au Service des relations internationales de la HE Vinci :

Si tu souhaites modifier des cours à ton arrivée à Vinci et encore dans les deux semaines après le début des cours, ce n’est pas un problème. Ton coordinateur international Vinci t’aidera dans cette démarche.

Nous t’invitons à compléter, avec le service des Relations internationales de ton université, une convention d’études (=Learning Agreement) avant ton arrivée. Elle contiendra ta proposition de programme de cours et/ou de stage, en accord avec ton institution d’origine. Elle pourra éventuellement être modifiée mais devra être signée par toi, ton institution d'origine et la Haute Ecole.

Échelle de notation ECTS

Les activités pédagogiques (cours ou stage) que tu réaliseras à Vinci feront l’objet d’une évaluation >>Les notes attribuées seront établies en fonction de l’échelle de notationde la Haute Ecole Léonard de Vinci. Un relevé de notes sera transmis à ton institution d’origine. C’est ton institution d’origine qui va délibérer sur ces notes et les inclure dans l’évaluation de ta formation d’origine.

Bruxelles offre un excellent rapport qualité-prix comparé à d’autres capitales européennes. Au total, c’est un budget mensuel d’environ 800 et 1000 euros qui sera nécessaire pour la vie au quotidien en Belgique : • Pour le logement, tu peux compter un montant d’environ 450-550 € par mois. • Pour la nourriture, compte entre 200 et 300€ par mois. Si ton séjour s’étale sur plus de 3 mois, à ton arrivée, tu dois t’inscrire dans la « commune » où est situé ton logement. En Belgique, « commune » est une petite division administrative du territoire. Chaque commune fait partie d'une des trois régions linguistiques. Pour t’inscrire, contacte le service « Population » de l’administration communale. Un agent de quartier passera à ton domicile dans les trois semaines après ton inscription.

Activités pour étudiants d’échange

Rencontre avec ton coordinateur départemental

Faire connaissance et découvrir Bruxelles Une journée d'accueil rassemble tous les étudiant⸱es en échange à Vinci. Elle est organisée en septembre et en février. Les étudiant⸱es reçoivent un mail d'invitation. C'est aussi l'occasion de recevoir ton welcome pack.

Il est impératif d'arriver quelques jours avant le début effectif de ton programme et de prendre rendez-vous par e-mail, avant ton arrivée, avec le coordinateur international de ton département d’accueil.

En plus de la journée d'accueil, le Service des Relations internationales prévoit des activités socio-culturelles pour les étudiant⸱ es d’échange de tous les départements. Ces activités te sont offertes par le service donc entièrement gratuites. Par exemple : découverte de Bruxelles et Louvain-la-Neuve, jeux (escape game), balades en nature, sorties au musée ou au théâtre, activités de découverte culturelle (bières, chocolat…), etc.

Faire connaissance et découvrir Bruxelles Une journée d'accueil rassemble tous les étudiant⸱es en échange à Vinci. Elle est organisée en septembre et en février. Les étudiant⸱es reçoivent un mail d'invitation quelques semaines avant. C'est aussi l'occasion de recevoir ton welcome pack.

Si le français n’est pas ta langue maternelle, il est recommandé d’avoir un niveau B1 avant le début de ton séjour en Belgique. How to prepare your Learning Agreement

Take a look at the course offer available for the study programme you are applying for >>

You may change your Learning Agreement within two weeks of the start of your mobility. An international coordinator will help you in this process.

We invite you to complete with your international Office your Learning Agreement before your arrival. It will contain your course (and/or placement)programme proposal approved by your home institution. The Learning Agreement is signed by you, your home University and Vinci.

From the Brussels National airport (Zaventem): Take the train to Brussels central station.

From Brussels South Airport (Charleroi): The shuttle bus Brussels City Shuttle provides the connection between the airport and Brussels centre (stopping at Brussels-Midi station). From the Brussels Midi railway station:

To reach the Ixelles campus: Take metro line 2 or 6 direction Elisabeth; Alight at Arts-Loi station.
To reach the Woluwe campus: Take metro line 2 or 6; Change at Arts-Loi station then take metro line 1 direction Stockel; Alight at Alma station.

From the Brussels National airport (Zaventem):

Take the train to Brussels Central Station
Then take another train to the station Louvain-la-Neuve Université (BE CAREFUL, not ‘Louvain’, which is a different university town).

Public transport

Woluwe and Ixelles campuses are well served by public transport. All public transport in Brussels is provided by one company, the STIB. Upon your arrival, you will receive a registration certificate from HE Vinci entitling you to the student rate. Registration with municipality

If you stay in Belgium for more than 3 months, you must register at the "municipality" where you live. In Belgium, a municipality is called ‘commune’, which is a small administrative division of the territory. Each municipality is part of one of the three linguistic regions. To register, contact your municipality’s "Population & Civil Registry". A neighbourhood officer will visit your home within three weeks of registration.

Getting to Know Each Other and Discovering Brussels A welcome day brings together all exchange students at Vinci. It is organized in September and February. Students receive an invitation email a few weeks before. It's also an opportunity to receive your welcome pack.

The International Office organizes cultural and social activities for exchange students from all departments. These activities are provided free of charge by the International Office.For example: discovery of Brussels and Louvain-la-Neuve, Escape game, walks in nature, museum or theater trips, cultural discovery activities (beer, chocolate, etc.), and the like.

We highly recommend you arrive a few days before the start of your programme. Before your arrival, you should ask for an appointment by sending an e-mail to the international coordinator of your host department.

French as a Foreign Language (in French: FLE)

If French is not your mother tongue, we recommend a B1 level to participate in the different learning activities. During your exchange at HE Vinci, you will have the opportunity to participate for free in French courses organized for exchange students only. Information on practical details (location, times, accreditation) will be given at the start of your mobility, and you can decide to register at that time.

To make your stay as comfortable and exciting as possible, a de Vinci student will be on hand for the duration of your stay. At the beginning of your stay at Vinci, you will receive a link to the 'Erasmus welcome pack' from the Brussels tourism office. This will give you access to a discounted Villo! subscription and invitations to various events.

Different sports activities are offered to you:

PassSport: It allows you to access the sports facilities of UCLouvain on the Louvain-la-Neuve and Woluwe campuses.
Move&Fit: Students from the Sports Coaching program organize free group classes.
Vinci Sport: You can also join the various Vinci teams (the Sharks) and participate in university championships.
