Inscription

Les étudiant⸱es sélectionné⸱es par leur établissement d’origine doivent envoyer un dossier d'inscription qui comprend :

En fonction des départements, la confirmation peut prendre plusieurs formes : email ou lettre de confirmation, signature de la convention d'études...

Si tu souhaites venir en échange à la HE Vinci dans le cadre d'un programme de mobilité, veille à d’abord prendre contact avec le bureau international de ton établissement d’origine. Celui-ci enverra la liste des étudiants qu’il décide de sélectionner (incluant : nom, prénom, adresse e-mail, département d'études, dates de mobilité), par email au Service des relations internationales de la HE Vinci :

• Le formulaire d'inscription (le lien sera envoyé après nomination)

• Une photo d’identité scannée

• Une copie de la carte d'identité ou du passeport

Sur base de l’offre de cours disponible pour la formation à laquelle tu postules >>

Nous t’invitons à compléter, avec le service des Relations internationales de ton université, une convention d’études (=Learning Agreement) avant ton arrivée. Elle contiendra ta proposition de programme de cours et/ou de stage, en accord avec ton institution d’origine. Elle pourra éventuellement être modifiée mais devra être signée par toi, ton institution d'origine et la Haute Ecole.

Si tu souhaites modifier des cours à ton arrivée à Vinci et encore dans les deux semaines après le début des cours, ce n’est pas un problème. Ton coordinateur international Vinci t’aidera dans cette démarche.

Modes d’évaluation

Les activités pédagogiques (cours ou stage) que tu réaliseras à Vinci feront l’objet d’une évaluation >> Les notes attribuées seront établies en fonction de l’échelle de notation de la Haute Ecole Léonard de Vinci. Un relevé de notes sera transmis à ton institution d’origine. C’est ton institution d’origine qui va délibérer sur ces notes et les inclure dans l’évaluation de ta formation d’origine.

Bruxelles offre un excellent rapport qualité-prix comparé à d’autres capitales européennes. Au total, c’est un budget mensuel d’environ 800 et 1000 euros qui sera nécessaire pour la vie au quotidien en Belgique : • Pour le logement, tu peux compter un montant d’environ 450-550 € par mois. • Pour la nourriture, compte entre 200 et 300€ par mois. D’abord, demande à ton institution d’origine si tu es couvert⸱e en termes d’assurance maladie et rapatriement dans le cadre de ton séjour à Vinci. Si tu ne l’es pas, il est de ta responsabilité de souscrire à une assurance complémentaire. Pour bénéficier d’un remboursement en matière de frais médicaux, emporte ta Carte Européenne d’assurance maladie ou toute autre preuve d’assurance maladie. Si ton programme contient des stages en milieu hospitalier, il faut également te munir des documents suivants :

• Carnet de vaccination

• Document prouvant le contrôle effectué pour la tuberculose (si tu l’as effectué)

• Certificat médical ou attestation de l’Institut d’origine prouvant que tu as eu une visite médicale et que tu es apte à travailler dans les milieux cliniques programmés.

Le Campus de Louvain-la-Neuve est piétonnier. Si tu souhaites voyager en dehors de la ville, le plus simple est soit le bus, soit le train. Le réseau de train belge : SNCB >> Le réseau de bus en Brabant wallon : TEC >>

Le Campus de Woluwe et Ixelles sont desservis par les transports en commun. Tous les transports en communs à Bruxelles sont regroupés sous un même abonnement (STIB). Tu recevras à ton arrivée un document attestant de ton inscription à la HE Vinci et donnant droit au tarif étudiant. Si ton séjour s’étale sur plus de 3 mois, à ton arrivée, tu dois t’inscrire dans la « commune » où est situé ton logement. En Belgique, « commune » est une petite division administrative du territoire. Chaque commune fait partie d'une des trois régions linguistiques. Pour t’inscrire, contacte le service « Population » de l’administration communale. Un agent de quartier passera à ton domicile dans les trois semaines après ton inscription.

Si le français n’est pas ta langue maternelle, il est recommandé d’avoir un niveau B1 avant le début de ton séjour en Belgique. Au cours de ton échange à Vinci, tu auras l’opportunité de participer gratuitement à des cours de FLE organisés pour les étudiants d’échange uniquement. If you would like to study at University College Vinci as an exchange student, you should first contact the international office at your home university. Your international office is responsible for sending the list of the students it has selected (including name, email address, area of study, dates of mobility), by email, to our International Office:

How to prepare your Learning Agreement

Take a look at the course offer available for the study programme you are applying for >>

We invite you to complete with your international Office your Learning Agreement before your arrival. It will contain your course (and/or placement)programme proposal approved by your home institution. The Learning Agreement is signed by you, your home University and Vinci.

You may change your Learning Agreement within two weeks of the start of your mobility. An international coordinator will help you in this process.

Assessment methods

You will be assessed for the academic activities (courses and/or placement) that are included in your Learning Agreement. >> The records are awarded according to the Vinci’s ECTS grading scale. A transcript of records will be sent to your home institution. Your home institution will ponder these records and include them in the assessment of your home study programme.

Belgium can offer a range of housing options for students that are called ‘kots’ locally. They include ‘studios’ (these are small flats) or flatsharing. De Vinci does not have its own residence. Health insurance

First, ask your home institution if you are well covered in health insurance and repatriation as part of your stay at Vinci. If you are not, it is your responsibility to purchase additional insurance. To obtain a reimbursement of your medical expenses, take your European Health Insurance Card or another proof of health insurance. If your programme contains work placement in a hospital environment, you must also bring the following documents:

• Vaccination certificate

• Proof of tuberculosis testing (if you have carried it out)

• Medical certificate or certificate from your home institution proving that you have had a medical examination and that you are fit to work in planned clinical settings.

The Louvain-la-Neuve Campus is pedestrian. If you want to travel outside the city, the easiest way is to travel either by bus or train. The Belgian railway operator : SNCB >> The bus network serving Walloon Brabant : TEC >>

Woluwe and Ixelles campuses are well served by public transport. All public transport in Brussels is provided by one company, the STIB. Upon your arrival, you will receive a registration certificate from HE Vinci entitling you to the student rate. If your accommodation is located in Wallonia

If you stay in Belgium for more than 3 months, you must register at the "municipality" where you live. In Belgium, a municipality is called ‘commune’, which is a small administrative division of the territory. Each municipality is part of one of the three linguistic regions. To register, contact your municipality’s "Population & Civil Registry". A neighbourhood officer will visit your home within three weeks of registration.
