ENERGY
LET'S WATCH A VIDEO FIRST!
Energy is present everywhere. Energy is the ability of an object to transform itself or to produce changes in other objects.
01 WHAT IS ENERGY?
Energy can neither be created nor destroyed, energy can only be transferred from one object to another.
02 ENERGY PROPIERTIES
Energy in the air --- transformed in electricity -- transformed in thermal energy to warm a room
Chemical energy Electrical energy Light energy
03 Energy transformations
MECHANICAL ENERGY
Energy that implies movement.
LIGHT ENERGY
Energy in form of light.
ELECTRICAL ENERGY
Comes from the flow of electrical charge.
THERMAL ENERGY
Energy in the form of heat.
04 FORMS OF ENERGY
SOUND ENERGY
Energy caused by vibrations.
EOLIC ENERGY
Energy that comes from the wind.
SOLAR ENERGY
Energy coming from the sun.
CHEMICAL ENERGY
Is found in substances like food and living things and also in batteries and fuel.

LET'S PRACTISE!
NON- RENEWABLE ENERGY SOURCES
RENEWABLE ENERGY SOURCES
Examples: - Solar energy - Eolic energy - Hydraulic energy _ Tidal wave energy - Geothermal energy (is generated form the heat stored in the earth)
Renewable energy sources refers to energy sources present in nature: the sun, the wind, the force of water or the inner of the earth are examples of renewable energy sources. They are present in nature and are naturally replenished that's why never run out.
Renewable Energy Sources
Examples:- Coal - Oil- Natural Gas - Nuclear Energy
Non- renewable Energy sources
Non- renewable energy sources refers to limited energy on the planet that don't replenish naturally. They are limited and that's why they may run out with use.
Renewable or non-renewable?
