The city has over 150 canals, the largest of which is the Grand Canal. The Grand Canal divides the city of Venice into two main parts. There are just four main bridges that cross over the Grand Canal, the oldest being the Rialto Bridge. Fun Fact: Venice and its lagoon were made a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1987.
