LET'S DICOVER THE COUNTRIES OF THE EUROPEAN UNION

The European Union spreads over an area of 4 million Km2 and has 500 million inhabitants. There are 27 countries and 24 languages. The capital is Brussels in Belgium. 19 countries belong to the Eurozone. All the countries of the Eurozone use the same currency : the Euro. 23 countries belong to the Schengen Area. All the inhabitants of the area can travel from a country to another without any border control. The biggest country in the EU is France with an area of 633,186 Km2. The most populated country is Germany with 83 million inhabitants. The smallest country is Malta with an area of 315 Km2
