- short sentences Y6
- qualifiers and personality adj Y5
- longer sentences Y8
Can work as a self marking translation exercise or spelling/vocab text.
FREETEXT INPUT
Menu
Examples:
- clothes
- places in town and directions
Good for more scaffolded sentence translations
PUZZLE
Menu
MATCHING PAIRS ON IMAGES
Example:
- fruit and veg (Y5)
Another way of matching words/phrases to images but with one picture and some virtual pins.
Menu
MEMORY
Example:
- frequency phrases
- ma maison idéale
Classic memory game but you can use full sentences and make them quite long for more advanced pupils, so it works like a narrow reading/translation exercise.
Menu
HORSE RACE
Example
- prepositions
Probably more fun for younger children, possibility to play against the computer or against friends. A little slow.
Menu
MATRIX
Example
- Christmas vocab: picture match, listening and spelling
- school vocab (Y5)
Combine apps together on a similar topic, generate one link for 3 activities.
