Ask A Librarian

There is an option for students, staff or parents to ask questions using Ask A Librarian. Fill out a google form and a librarian will get back to you. There is a button on each library website.

Databases provide access to information that is safe, accurate, current, validated and organized. Many of the databases are moving to Clever for easy single sign on, so check both places! Clever lists the differerent resources as tiles. Many of the library databases for research can be found in the Mackinvia Tile. Below are some of the more popular library resources found in Clever.

Search the library catalog through Destiny Discover to find your next great read. The library has a broad collection of fiction, non-fiction, manga, test prep, specialized collections, DVDs and more. Ill - Inter Library Loan is also available from our sister libraries.

South Texas ISD Digital Library

Sora is accessed through Clever or can be downloaded as an app on your personal device.

Ebooks and Audiobooks are available 24/7 in Sora. It's a great resource for discovering and enjoying books on demand. The info button below is linked to instructions on how to download the app and start checking out books.

Lamination

• Form is located in the Teacher's Lounge.
• Fill it out and drop off your lamination items with library staff.
• You get an email when it's ready to be picked up.
• Thursday is laminating day; however, sometimes we can do it sooner.

Poster Printing

• Email .pdf file of your request to cheryl.fultz@stisd. and raquel.diaz@stisd
• indicate size and if you want it laminated.
• Two sizes available: 24 X 36 (full size) or 18 X 24 (half size) - select high quality images!

Library Reservations

• New teachers make reservations by calling the library.
• Library areas to reserve include: Video Editing Lab: 32 computers with TV monitor, Learning Center: TV monior, tables and iPad cart, Yellow Area: 32 computes, Green Area 32 computers, Lecture Area: TV monitor, tables and 48 chairs.

School Dude

First register your account with your school email. This is where you submit technology, maintenance and trip requests.

Ascender

Click on Employee Portal. Create account. This is where you check pay information and leave balances.

DocuSign

Scroll down to the DocuSign Form Links and select Medical Professions. This is where you submit absences, time clock records, student activity forms and club sponsorship forms.
