Whodunnit?

Lord SUTTON, the owner of a mansion in London, was having a party with some friends inside the house when suddenly the lights went out at 9 pm. He left the living room to get some candles but he never came back. He was found dead lying on the rug next to the piano in the music room. Someone stabbed him twice in the chest and left the crime weapon (a kitchen knife) on the floor. What happened? Who committed the crime?
