However, in recent years we are seeing a clear change. Thanks to the internet, video platforms, and musical globalization, listeners are exposed to much more diverse proposals. This has created a more curious, more open audience that is less dependent on the conventional.
For decades, popular music has followed very defined patterns: regular rhythms, structures repetitive and systems standardized tuning.This made it easier for any listener to recognize, anticipate, and enjoy a song from the first listen.
Today, the unexpected no longer distances, it attracts. The complexity is perceived as something interesting, even exciting.
