Este caso corresponde a la investigación educativa plasmada en el libro "Enigmas y dilemas de la práctica docente". A través de una etnografía escolar, se analizan las trayectorias de dos estudiantes normalistas, Aldo y Juan, durante sus prácticas profesionales en primarias públicas de Veracruz, México.El contexto central y los dilemas que enfrentaron se desglosan en los siguientes puntos:Los protagonistas y sus dudas: Ni Aldo ni Juan tenían como primera opción ser maestros, pero las circunstancias los llevaron al magisterio. En sus prácticas, experimentaron una transición profunda donde pasaron del aburrimiento y la incertidumbre a encontrar una verdadera vocación.El dilema ético: Al ingresar a las aulas, se enfrentaron al choque entre la teoría pedagógica (enseñar con equidad, respeto y métodos constructivistas) y la dura realidad de la cultura escolar tradicional. El gran conflicto para ambos fue decidir si debían mantenerse callados e imitar las prácticas injustas de los maestros titulares (como el autoritarismo o el rezago intencional de alumnos) o intervenir para transformar la situación.La formación de su identidad: Al decidir romper con las inercias imperantes y optar por una postura activa, crítica y empática hacia los niños de zonas marginadas, consolidaron su identidad docente. En lugar de reproducir pasivamente lo que veían, se convirtieron en sujetos que cuestionan y transforman su entorno
