Permanent Fasteners
Main Permanent Fasteners
Introduction
Squeeze rivets are the most commonly used fastening elements in metal structure construction. However, when superior mechanical strength is required, access is not easy, etc., several types of special permanent fasteners are available to achieve the assembly.
The Different Types
The Different Types
Special permanent fasteners can be classified into two main categories:
Bolt-type Fasteners
Blind-type Fasteners
Access to only one side of the assembly is required.
Access to both sides of the assembly is required.
