Day 3: Drawing the Line with Love

Boundaries are limits and guidelines you set to protect your own well-being, time, and emotional energy while still showing care and respect for your parents. Boundaries define what you can and cannot give, what you’re responsible for and what you’re not, and how you will communicate, help, or engage in a healthy way.

What Boundaries Are (and Aren’t)

  • Boundaries are about YOUR behavior — not about controlling their behavior.
  • “If A, then B” creates clarity and calm.
  • No punishment — just predictable care.
