- Correctly validate the indicators.
- Review the evidence corresponding to each month.
- Consult data from previous months.
- Understand the importance of correct data entry.

How to access the capture and validation screen?

1. Accessing the Capture and Validation Screen
Enter the Platform:
Log in with your Windows email and password.
Click on each red cursor-shaped icon to proceed through the course.

1. Access the capture and validation screen
Click on “Sustainability Strategy”.
The content of the home screen will depend on your access. If you cannot see this window, proceed to the next step.

Click on “5.- Environmental Management”.
Then on “Capture Environmental Management Indicators”.

1. Access the capture and validation screen
On this screen, you can view the reporting periods, your plant, and its status.
You can apply a filter by clicking on this icon.

The different status types can be…
- Expired capture: Previous month, pending data capture.
- In capture: Current month (deadline until the 15th), pending data capture and submission for validation.
- In validation: Pending review and approval by the validator.
- Validated: The month has completed the full process (captured and validated).

How to perform indicator and evidence validation?

2a. Indicator Validation
On the capture screen, you can identify reports pending validation when it says “In validation” in its status. Click on the one you want to validate.
On this screen, please confirm that the period is correct.

2.1. Indicator Validation
On the validation and capture screen, you will find...
The current captured value.
The unit of the captured data.
Authorization buttons.
The different indicators.
Captured comments on variations or valuable information for analysis.
The previous month's value for reference.
The percentage variation between the previous and current data for reference.

2a. Indicator Validation
Verify that all captured indicators are consistent.
The power button (in blue) indicates that the indicator is authorized.
Don't forget to also review the attached evidence located at the bottom of the screen.

2b. Rejection of an incorrect indicator
If an error is detected in any indicator…
To reject an indicator, click on the edit icon.
Select "Edit Mode."
Click the button to turn it off (it turns gray).
Exit editing mode by clicking the icon again.
You will see that your status changes to "Returned".

2b. Rejection of an incorrect indicator
Click on the "Return to Capture" button.
Enter a comment and click OK to return the task to the capturer.
On the home screen, you will notice that the status changed to "Returned".

2c. Authorize Indicator Validation
Once all indicators and evidence have been reviewed, click the “Authorize Validation” button.
You can confirm that the process is complete when it says “Validated” in your status on the home screen.

Remember to turn on the sound to view the video correctly.
