Welcome Back!

How are you feeling today?

Last week you learned how dialysis removes extra waste and fluid from your body like a washer-dryer.

Today we're taking a closer look at fluid removal.

Your Body is Working Hard

Your body is adjusting to a big change. Be sure to rest after treatment to help your body recover.

You've made it through your first few treatments!

We want you get the most from your treatment.

What is working well for you treating in-center? What do you wish you could change?

Stay Visible, Stay Safe

Keep your access arm uncovered at all times.

Put blankets or wear long sleeves over your access.

Why Treat at Home?

Do dialysis on your schedule.

Treat in the comfort and privacy of your home.

Things to Consider About HHD

You may treat more often (4-6x per week). Treatments are usually only 2-3 hours.

You’ll likely need a care partner to help you. They’ll be trained with you.

Training takes several weeks. You will not treat on your own until you feel ready.
