Things to Consider About PD
Things to Consider About PD
Most people treat every day. Treatments are usually done overnight.
Having a PD catheter placed requires a short, safe procedure.
Training takes about a week. You will not treat on your own until you feel ready.
You will need to keep your catheter clean and dry to prevent infection.
You’ll learn more about PD and HHD in the coming weeks. You and your kidney doctor will work together to decide what type of dialysis is best for your health and your lifestyle.
