Eguzki energia termikoak Eguzkiaren beroa aprobetxatzen du ura edo beste fluido batzuk berotzeko. Ez du elektrizitatea zuzenean sortzen (horretarako erabiltzen da eguzki energia fotovoltaikoa), baizik eta bero-energia jasotzen eta erabiltzen du. Honela funtzionatzen du:
