Reduces Waste and Reimagines Use of Resources
Remote rural communities are often left beyond the reach of traditional infrastructure. Without reliable electricity, safe water, sanitation, or connectivity, families face health and safety risks, schools struggle, and local businesses cannot grow. Tierra Grata closes this last-mile gap by delivering integrated services directly to communities.
Tierra Grata co-designs solutions with communities, then installs decentralized systems for energy, water, sanitation, connectivity, and lighting. It trains local “Guardians” to maintain them, supports children through Escuela Grata, and works with strategic partners to expand its impact.
Tierra Grata provides well-being and productivity to the country's most remote rural communities through opportunities for access to essential services such as clean energy, safe water, and sanitation.
In 2025, Tierra Grata reached 5,075 people through 313 installed solutions, including solar lighting, water filters, sanitation systems, and support for 14 rural schools. The work brought safe water to 2,139 people, improved learning conditions for 766 students, and trained 38 local Guardians to support long-term community ownership.
