How Diary Entries Work
Opening: Describe the setting and explain what is happening at the start. Introduce the writer’s feelings, thoughts and worries about the situation.
Main Body:Describe the important events that happened, including difficult or emotional experiences. Explain reactions, memories and thoughts the writer has.
Closing:End by reflecting on feelings about the future. Include hopes, plans or dreams before signing off the diary entry.
