Female Urethra
The most distinct difference between the male and female systems. The female urethra is short (3cm to 4cm). It empties in front of the vagina
Female Bladder
In females, the bladder sits in front of the uterus and vagina, which limits how much it can expand. Because of this, the average bladder capacity in females is smaller than in males. It holds approx. 500ml.
Male Bladder
In males, the bladder sits above the prostate and infront of the rectum. Because of this, being there's more space, the bladder is able to expand and has a larger compacity (approx. 700ml).

Prostate
The prostate is a walnut-sized gland/organ that only males have. The urinary tract wraps through it. If the prostate enlarges with age, it can restrict flow of urine.
Male Urethra
The male urethra is long in length (approx. 20cm). It travels through the prostate and the entire length of the penis.
