WRITING PRACTICE

To: "Erika Reyes" <erikares13@gmail.com>From: "Karla Estudillo" <karlest2001@hotmail.com>

Hey, mate! How are you doing? Sorry I haven’t written in a while, I’ve been quite busy, but I’ve just had the best day ever! I’ve had tons of homework and projects, all due today, and it went great. In the morning, my English project was praised by the professor in front of the whole class. Then, it was displayed on the main bulletin board! Because I prepared so well, I could answer all the difficult questions during the presentation, and the audience couldn't find any mistakes. Today I proved that if you study hard, you get good results. Most importantly, if I have time this weekend, I will celebrate with my friends! Would you like to come? Can’t wait!

Paragraph 1: Introduce the big news // Say how you feel right now and introduce the great thing that just happened.

Paragraph 2: The main events (What happened?) // Explain the details of the day, what you were able to do, and how people reacted.

Paragraph 3: Future plans and conclusion // State a general rule about success/happiness and explain how you will celebrate in the future.
