cos'è il calcestruzzo?
CEMENTO:
Il cemento più comune si chiama portland; Il cemento si ottiene utilizzando 97 parti di clinker e 3 parti di gesso ed a sua volta il clinker si ottiene da calcare pari all'80% in peso e argilla pari al 20% in peso.

Dopo aver mescolato calcare ed argilla, cuocio a 1400°-1500° in forni rotanti e si ottiene il clinker in grandi sferette, dopodichè mescolo con gesso e si tritura finemente ottenendo la polvere di cemento.
Il gesso deriva da rocce sedimentaree dalle quali è evaporata acqua di mare. Macinando tali rocce e cuocendo a diverse temperature si ottengono gessi dalle diversi caratteristiche e ideali per diversi impieghi.
Calce :Si ottiene dalla cottura di rocce calcaree ad 895°, ottenendo così calce viva che viene spenta aggiungendo acqua in quantità stechiometrica.

Sono materiali che servono per unirne altri, come avviene in edilizia. I leganti si dividono in due gruppi-Leganti aerei: fanno presa e induriscono solo all'aria. -Leganti idraulici: fanno presa ed induriscono sia all'aria che in acqua.
