¿DÓNDE ESTAMOS? / Where is the school?
Ubicación: Barrio "Las tablas". Es un barrio joven en el norte de Madrid. Zona residencial y gran sede empresarial (Telefónica, BBVA). Familias jóvenes con muchos niños en edad escolar.
CEIPSO: Colegio Público de Educación Infantil, Primaria y Secundaria
Blas de Lezo (Las tablas) es un colegio público (los alumnos no pagan mensualidad. Únicamente por el servicio del comedor y de actividades extraescolares). The school is a public school (students do not pay tuition fees. They only pay for the cafeteria service and extracurricular activities)
OUR SCHOOL: Blas de Lezo
- 58 teachers: 38 in Primary and preschooler, 20 in High school Level - Total Students: 625 (451 in lower levels) and 174 in High school - Metodología ABP combinada con otras metodologías en Infantil. Uso de libros en Primaria. / Project-Based Learning (PBL) methodology combined with other methodologies in Early Childhood Education. Use of textbooks in Primary Education
- Specialized teachers: Infants, English, "spanish teachers" (maths, Spanish language), music, Physical education, Special Needs support teachers and in High School every subject has a specialist teacher.

OUR SCHOOL: Blas de Lezo
- BILINGUAL PROGRAMME IN ENGLISH AS A SECOND LANGUAGE: The school follows the Bilingual Programme in Madrid. This means more English Sessions from Preeschooler to High school. improving their level of English for their global future and development. Preschool: 8 English Sessions (45 minutes) Primary: 10 English Sessions High School/Secondary: it depends of the options (BILINGUAL SECTION/ PROGRAMA SECTION)
E.S.O. (Educación Secundaria Obligatoria) = High School (12 to 16 years old). At the moment we have from 1st to 3rd ESO levels (next year it will be 4th grade of High School) HIGH SCHOOL SUBJECTS: Castellano, English, Geography and History, Biology and Geology, Mathematics, Music, Physics and Chemistry, Physical Education.

El centro ofertará las materias, agrupadas en cinco opciones, cada una de las cuales incluye dos materias fijas y una tercera a elección del alumno de entre las restantes no incluidas en la opción elegida.
Opciones o itinerarios: - Opción Científica: Biología y Geología y Física y Química.
- Opción Tecnológica: Digitalización y Tecnología.
- Opción Profesional: Economía y Emprendimiento y Formación y Orientación Personal y Profesional.
- Opción Artística: Expresión Artística y Música.
- Opción Humanidades: Latín y a elección del alumno Segunda Lengua Extranjera (francés) o Economía y Emprendimiento.
- Todos los alumnos que elijan la opción Científica cursarán Matemáticas B. - Mínimo de 15 alumnos en cada opción.

Job Shadowing: Periodo de estancia formativa en el extranjero. Objetivo: Aprender mediante la observación directa de la práctica diaria. Rol: El profesor visitante es un observador activo.
JOB SHADOWING: OBJETIVOS PRINCIPALES/ MAIN GOALS
Intercambiar/Exchange: Compartir metodologías didácticas y formas de organización escolar. Innovar/Innovate: Descubrir nuevas herramientas y recursos de aula. Comparar/Compare: Conocer de primera mano otro sistema educativo europeo. Internacionalizar/Connect: Crear lazos para futuros proyectos escolares entre ambos países.
JOB SHADOWING: OUR DAYS IN MADRID
In class: Los docentes asistirán a diferentes asignaturas y niveles/ Teachers will observe different subjects. In school: Conocerán nuestras instalaciones, reuniones de departamento y proyectos./ Touring facilities, department meetings, and projects. Dialogue: Habrá momentos para debatir y resolver dudas bilaterales/ Dedicated time to debate and exchange ideas. Evenings: os acompañaremos por las tardes para amenizar vuestra visita en Madrid
