CASE DESCRIPTION

Lily received a sketchbook from her grandmother last year, who is currently dead. It goes missing at the school. She is strangely desperate to find it. She even got in contact with a detective (you). You must solve the case. The game pieces feature the janitor, a classmate, a friend, and the art teacher. Someone is hiding important information.

"I was near locker 237 on Monday because it was open. I closed it. That's all. I dropped my master key near the art room on Tuesday and found it Wednesday. There was a broken window I had to repair on Wednesday. The security camera glitched. I don't believe in magic, but... that was strange."

MR. DOYLE

(Janitor)

"Lily showed me a drawing of a broken window on Monday on a sketchbook her grandmother gave her. On Tuesday, she was erasing something aggressively in another drawing. She looked worried before leaving. The same day, when I went out of the classroom, I found a key on the floor, on Wednesday I realized it belonged to the Janitor so I gave it back to him."

MS. HART

(Art Teacher)

"I saw Lily's sketchbook on the floor on Wednesday with a cracked phone drawing half-erased. I was going to give it to her, but the arts teacher asked me to give it to her instead. By the way, by coincidence, two days later my phone screen cracked a little bit."

ZOE

(Classmate)

"Lily told me her drawings happen. She once said if she ever lost the sketchbook, she would be afraid it ends in the wrong hands. That's the reason why she's desperate. On Tuesday she draw a broken phone to test if it was going to be hers or someone else's phone the one that will break. On Wednesday, she wanted to delete it to see if that would stop it from happening"

Why? Because the teacher knew the notebook had power (her grandmother had told her mother the secret years ago). She hid it so that no one with bad intentions could use it. She just wanted to protect the girl.

Zoe found the notebook on the floor of the arts classroom. She was going to return it, but the arts teacher asked her to give it to her instead. The teacher put it in her locker.

CASE SOLVED

. In the end, the girl gets the notebook back and realizes its power only works with her anyways!!

"I’m Mr. Doyle. I’ve worked at this school for over twenty years, and I know every corner of the building better than anyone. People don’t usually notice me, but I notice everything. If something strange happens... trust me, I probably saw it."

"I’m Ms. Hart, the art teacher. I spend most of my time in the studio, helping students express themselves creatively. I may look distracted sometimes, but I’m very observant. Colours, shapes, people’s moods, nothing escapes me."

"Hi, I’m Zoe. I’m in Lily's class. I’m always running from one place to another with too many books in my hands. I try to stay out of trouble, but somehow trouble always finds me. I might have seen something… but I’m not sure if I should say it."

"Hey! I’m Sam. I’m always around, always curious, always asking questions. Maybe I know something useful… or maybe I’m hiding something. I guess you’ll have to find out."

The notebook isn't lost, and no one stole it; someone put it away on purpose.

The art teacher's mother met Lily's grandmother years ago.

The notebook is in the arts teacher's locker!
