Cloud-to-Ground (CG): The most familiar and dangerous type, a discharge travels from the cloud to the ground, often striking tall objects. Intra-cloud (IC): Occurs entirely within one cloud, lighting it up from the inside. Often called sheet lightning. Cloud-to-Cloud (CC): A bolt that connects two separate clouds, usually seen as a horizontal flash. Ground-to-Cloud (GC): Rare; the discharge starts from the ground and travels upward, often triggered by tall structures. Cloud-to-Air (CA): Extends from a cloud into clear air, ending abruptly. ¿Que son?
