It is divided in 5 acts:
- Introduction:opens with the storm,Prospero's past is told and his arrival on the island with his daughter Miranda.
2.Rising action:The castaways (including the King of Naples and Antonio) land on the island, but they split up. Two secondary plots develop. 3.Climax:Prospero's machinations reach their climax. The nobles are driven to despair and madness by the spirits. 4.Falling action: Prospero uses magic to bless Miranda and Ferdinand's engagement. Soon after, magic is used to punish the conspirators. 5.Conclusion:Prospero frees his enemies from the spell, forgives all the wrongs suffered and regains the Duchy of Milan.
