Text 741741 to the Crisis Text Line, which is a free, confidental, 24/7 resource. By texting "HOME" or "CONNECT", you will be connected with a live, human, and trained crisis counselor who can help you navigate eating disorders or mental health issues.
The National Eating Disorders Association (NEDA) offers a hotline. It is a confidential support service staffed by experts that provides information, resources, and treatment referrals for individuals struggling with eating disorders, as well as for their families and friends.
Students at McLean can access support through school psychologists Marly Jerome-Featherson (mjeromefeath@fcps.edu) and Carol Ann-Forrest (cmforrest@fcps.edu), as well as all counselors. McLean’s student services department is open during school hours.
Subsidized treatment and resources for those who cannot afford treatment for eating disorders. The primary in-person center is the Sharon Bulova Center for Community Health, located at 8221 Willow Oaks Corporate Drive, Fairfax, VA.
