Location and description
Liébana is a mountainous region in southwestern Cantabria, located in the Picos de Europa mountains and centered around the town of Potes. It is surrounded by mountains and comprised of four valleys traversed by rivers such as the Deva and the Quiviesa. Thanks to its natural isolation, it has a warmer and drier microclimate than the rest of Cantabria, allowing for the coexistence of Mediterranean and Atlantic vegetation and is part of a National Park
