Decision for Project
When will this milestone be reached?
- Commitment from the school management: Formal approval has been given and the project objectives have been established.
- Mobilisation of the team: The necessary staff resources have been allocated and the core team is in place.
- Informed school community: The project has been communicated transparently and all stakeholders are on board.
When will this milestone be reached?
Milestone 2
Month 1/2
- Designated project lead: The person in charge has been officially appointed and acts as the central point of contact for the entire duration of the project.
- Established project team: The working group has a fixed membership (including a list of members) and is ready to begin operational implementation.
- Successful kick-off: The kick-off meeting has taken place and the outcomes have been
recorded in the minutes as a common basis.

When will this milestone be reached?
- Complete data collection: All surveys were conducted within the school community and the questionnaires were successfully submitted.
- Verified data set: The responses have been checked for completeness and all processed data is ready for analysis.
- Availability of the analysis: The necessary reports have been generated and are available to serve as a sound basis for future decisions.
When will this milestone be reached?
- Guaranteed flow of information: The sensor’s results were communicated and the entire process has been documented transparently for the school community.
- Precise goal-setting: The goals for the coming year have been defined and reviewed in accordance with the SMART principle (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Realistic, Time-bound).
- Strategic integration: The democracy goals have been officially integrated into the school development plan.
- Selection of methods: Suitable methods (GEMs) were selected from the coACTION Treasury and assessed for their feasibility, impact and resource requirements.
- Finalised planning document: The completed document is now available and serves as a binding roadmap for all further steps.

When will this milestone be reached?
- Data collection complete: The second round of the survey has been successfully completed and all questionnaires from the school community have been collected.
- Results analysis complete: The data has been processed and the analysis of the results is now complete.
- Basis for the before-and-after comparison: The reports are available and enable a thorough analysis of developments compared with the first survey.
When will this milestone be reached?

Month 11
- The finished Diary: Your journey has been documented – the Diary is now your school’s central repository of knowledge.
- A concise review: The data now shows in black and white what has happened during the project year.
- Achievements & outlook: A joint reflection on the highlights and plans for the future.
- Green light: The school management has formally and successfully concluded the project year.

By working through each phase, you are not just implementing a project; you are building a robust and sustainable foundation for enhanced democratic participation and understanding within your school community.
Upon reaching this milestone, the initial project organization will be established, and the team will be ready to begin the planning phase, with the school's vision, goals and quality management system (school development plan) serving as fundamental guiding principle.
Acceptance Criteria
- The decision for the "More Democracy in Primary Schools" project has been made by the school management and communicated bindingly.
- A project manager has been appointed and accepts their role.
- The core project team has been formed on a voluntary basis, and all members are informed about their participation. The option of involving parents and/or students has been reviewed and, if applicable, implemented.
- The initial Kick-off Meeting has been successfully conducted. All key stakeholders are informed about the project start, and the project's connection to the school's vision, goals, and school development plan (QMS) has been clearly highlighted and anchored during the kick-off.
