starfish

Starfish are impressive marine animals that live on the seabed, on rocks or in the sand. They usually have five arms. They do not swim, but “walk” slowly on the seabed. They have the ability to regenerate lost limbs. They do not have a head and feed on mussels and clams. We should never take starfish out of the water. We should admire them only in their natural environment.

Shark

Sharks have lots of sharp teeth, but they do not chew food like people do. Sharks can smell food in the water from far away. Sharks eat fish, squid, and other sea animals. Some sharks even eat tiny plants and animals called plankton.

Dolphin

Dolphins live in pods. They eat fish and have up to 100 teeth! They communicate with each other using various sounds they make…! Females give birth to baby dolphins! They are very intelligent animals!
Jelly Fish

We can find them in all oceans. They don't have bones, brain, blood and brain. They eat small fish and plankton. They are almost tranparent or can have colors. They can sting us. Some of them cause an annoying or painful sting to humans

Sea turtle

Sea turtles are large reptiles that live in the ocean. They have strong flippers to help them swim and a hard shell to protect their bodies. Sea turtles come to the beach to lay their eggs in the sand. When the baby turtles hatch, they crawl to the sea. Sea turtles eat foods like jellyfish, sea grass, and small sea animals. They are important for keeping the ocean healthy, and people work hard to protect them.

PENGUIN

Penguins are birds that cannot fly, but they are amazing swimmers! They live in cold places like Antarctica and use their flippers to glide through the water. Penguins eat fish, squid, and tiny sea animals called krill. Many penguins huddle together to stay warm, especially during icy weather. Baby penguins are called chicks, and their parents take good care of them until they grow up.

OCTOPUS

Octapus live in the ocean and like to hide in rocks and caves. They have 8 arms covered with tiny suckers They are very smart and can solve simple puzzles An octopus has no bones so it can squeeze through very small spaces When scared an octopus can spray a cloud of ink to escape The octopus is one of the most fascinating animals in the sea!

WHALE

Whales are large marine mammals belonging to the order Cetacea. They are divided into two main groups: baleen whales and toothed whales. Baleen whales, such as the blue whale (Balaenoptera musculus), are filter feeders that consume large quantities of small creatures like krill. Toothed whales, including orcas and sperm whales, have teeth and hunt larger prey like fish and squid.

SEAL

Seal Seals are marine mammals belonging to the family Phocidae, known for their streamlined bodies and flippers adapted for swimming. They are found in cold ocean waters across the Arctic and Antarctic regions, as well as temperate zones. Seals are carnivorous, primarily feeding on fish, squid, and crustaceans. They are excellent divers, capable of staying underwater for several minutes while hunting. Social behavior varies among species, with some forming large colonies during breeding seasons.

CRAB

Crab A crab is a marine invertebrate that lives in oceans, seas, and coastal areas. It has a hard shell, ten legs, and two strong claws that it uses for protection and catching food. Crabs usually move sideways and play an important role in aquatic ecosystems.
