-1256: The abbot John de Blosneville founds the school -1563: John Roysse, a succesful merchant, moves the school into another location -1870: The school is moved into the actual location -1950–1969: The school evolves into a grammar school, blending public and state education -1970: The school becomes fully independent -2026: The school begins a historic transition to coeducation
