The Connection Information pod shows you what account you are currently logged in with. It's always good to check that you are working in the correct tenant! You can also logout from here when done.
The Block Sender or Attachment pod lets you directly block a specific email sender by email address, emails from an entire domain, or a file attachment by SHA256 hash. This doesn't delete existing messages, but does stop new messages from arriving.
The Create New Search pod allows you to instantly make a new content search. All fields must be filled in to make the search. Sharkphin currently only supports making searchs for mail with a single sender that have a subject containing the phrase you provide.
"Purge Items" runs a soft purge action against the search. All mail items matching the search criteria will be moved to the users' deleted item folder. After running this action, a user can still access the messages in the trash folder. There is no way to undo this action in bulk.
"Refresh Search" will process the search and get an updated items count for the search. The default item count for new searches is 0. When you create a search in Sharkphin, the search is automatically started once, but you can use this option to refresh the count for any search at any time. The "Status" field will show when it is complete.
"Remove Search" deletes the search entry from Purview. This action does not delete any emails, but just removes the search itself. It will no longer be available in Sharkphin or Purview after deletion. Deleting unused searches keeps the Purview console clean, and lets Sharkphin run faster.
The Existing Searches pod automatically updates to show you the status of all of the existing content searches available in Purview. This includes searches made in Sharkphin, from Purview, or other sources. Click each action button to learn more about them.
