Come to the Victorian Fairground

Roll up, roll up! Have you ever experienced the fantastic fun of a fairground before? Do you know about all the amazing excitement to be had there? Read on to discover the marvellous Victorian fair. Miss it and miss out!

The Ferris Wheel The Ferris Wheel is a giant revolving wheel with passenger cars suspended from it in the air. Without a doubt, this revolving ride is the perfect way to catch a bird’s-eye view of the entire fairground. The famous Ferris Wheel transports you up to the very top of the world! When you get there, you can watch all the wonderful sights from the comfort of your very own dangling capsule! It really is one of the best attractions to start off your day.

Swinging Steam Yacht The Swinging Steam Yacht is a vessel powered by steam which it uses to move back and forth. Securely in your seat, let the swinging and swaying boat sweep you up, up and away. Sail into the air before plunging back down again. This swooping boat reaches a dizzy height of sixty feet, giving you a thrilling sense of weightlessness. Visitors have been amazed by how high up it soars. This ride will send your stomach into somersaults! Fairground rides like this are designed to excite you, and this is certainly no exception!

The Merry-Go-Round The Merry-Go-Round is a rotating spinning spectacle of galloping horses and is definitely one on the list of wonders at the Victorian funfair. Step onto the platform circle, climb onto one of the gilded horses, then spiral in delight as the horse dances up and down. This rotating carousel brings movement, magical colours and music all together. It is a particularly popular ride.

The Helter Skelter The Helter Skelter is a large slide that looks like a towering lighthouse wrapped in red and white stripes. It has been a firm fairground favourite for many years. Climb its spiral staircase to a dizzying height. Then, jump onto a mat and slide all the way back down in a swirl. Do not forget to hold on tight as its steep slide causes you to zoom down at an alarming speed! This is not one for the faint-hearted. What a fantastic feature of the fairground!

From fun on the Ferris Wheel to swinging on the Steam Yacht, there really is plenty to experience at the Victorian fairground. The magic has been waiting for you! Which ride will you choose to start your funfair adventure?
