They travelled to Dublin to complete their work placement in mechanics from Monday, March 2nd to Saturday, March 28th 2026. Jade, Emilien and Baptiste were placed at Fast Fit in Malahide, while Peter and Oleh worked at Atlas Autoservice in Blanchardstown. They stayed with host families and took the bus every morning to get to their workplaces.

They were lucky enough to experience Saint Patrick's Day, Ireland’s national celebration, when it is customary to dress in green and enjoy festive events.

Every weekend, they set off on new adventures to explore Dublin and its surroundings. They discovered several of the city’s museums, lively streets, traditional pubs, and unique shopping centres such as St Stephen's Green Shopping Centre.

This experience also allowed them to significantly improve their English skills through daily communication in a professional environment. They developed their confidence, autonomy and ability to adapt to new situations.
