About Painted Words

We will learn different sentence structures and literacy techniques for creative writing.

Our writing programmes are called Write and Shine and the lessons are grouped together in 12 week blocks.

Our focus is writing a narrative with an engaging setting and chracter description.

Lesson format

Learning chunk 1 - we learn about either a literary or grammar technique.

Example: Using personification to describe nature
Example: 1st sentence begins with a verb. 2nd sentence has 3 words.

GO SLOW - we follow a structure to craft a short text with love and attention.
