Il Nord Africa è composto da: Marocco, Algeria, Tunisia, Libia, Egitto e Sahara occidentale.

Il NordAfrica è confinato da: - a Nord dal Mar Mediterraneo; - a Est col Mar Rosso; - a Ovest sull' Oceano Atlantico; - a Sud col Deserto del Sahara.

Ambiente

Il tratto più caratteristico è il Deserto del Sahara, il più grande deserto caldo del mondo, che occupa gran parte del territorio. Qui il clima è estremamente secco, con precipitazioni rarissime e forti escursioni termiche tra giorno e notte. Tra il Marocco, l'Algeria e la Tunisia troviamo la catena montuosa dell'Atlante e in Egitto è importante la Valle del Nilo. La fauna (animali) del Nord Africa è molto selvatica e si è adattata ad ambienti aridi e montuosi, ad esempio ci sono gazzelle, sciacalli e uccelli migratori e i dromedari

Storia: passato

Il Nord Africa presenta molte abitazioni camitiche che in seguito è stata colonizzata da Francesi, Inglesi, Spagnoli e Italiani.Nel 1969 è salito al trono Mu'ammar Gheddafi che morì nel 2011 a causa di di un confillo civile armato, per questo dopo la sua morte ci furono anni di instabilità politica.

In NordAfrica ci fù un discreto sviluppo per l'estrazione dei giacimenti di petrolio e gas naturale e qui si lega l'attività industriale estrattivaE' notevole lo sviluppo del turismo ma maggior parte della gente vive ancora nella povertà ed emigrazione

MAROCCO

Marocco è abitato da circa 38 milioni di abitanti Il litorale (coste) del Marocco è bagnato dall'Oceano Atlantico, Mar Mediterraneo. Il Marocco confina con Algeria e Mauritania (Deserto del Sahara) e il sahara occidentale. Le coste sul Mar Mediterraneo sono più brevi ma più articolate. Il clima è temperato. Parallela alla costa Mediterranea c'è la catena del Rif (2456)

Economia Marocco

Il PIL pro Capite è di circa 8600$.Il settore primario produce poco meno del 17% della ricchezza totale. Si coltivano cereali, uva, agrumi e ortaggi. L'industria è finanziata principalmente da capitali stranieri, è orientata alla trasformazione di prodotti e alla produzione di attrezzi agricoli e fertilizzanti. Il turismo è in sensibile aumento dagli anni '90 del XX (1901-1999).
