Reading Comprehension
Read the text below aloud.
This rich variety of marine life includes creatures like starfish, sea urchins, eels, and stingrays, which have adapted fascinating survival strategies to their environments. For instance, some jellyfish have the ability to glow in the dark in the deepest waters, while stingrays use the sand to camouflage themselves from predators. Similarly, many sea creatures, such as small fish, hide from threats within the intricate structures of coral. Each species has developed unique adaptations that help it survive in the often harsh and mysterious depths of the ocean. Many scientists study sea creatures to advance knowledge and to protect marine life from human behavior. Sea life is always being studied because there is still so much more to learn about the giant ocean. We must conserve and sustainably use our oceans to protect both sea creatures and mankind.
