The Exploration of the Past, Present and Future of Homes
The Beginning - What is a house? Why do we need houses?
Our first look into the theme was an exploration of the reason why we live in a house. Why do we need a house? What materials can we use to build our houses? What did the first house look like? What are the features of our houses now? What do you think our houses will be like in the future? 我们对这一主题的初步探讨，是围绕“我们为何住在房子里”这一问题展开的。我们为什么需要房子？我们可以用什么材料来盖房子？最早的房子是什么样子的？现在的房子有哪些特点？你认为未来的房子会是什么样子的？
In the present - Becoming little architects
Our next step in this theme exploration was to become little architects. The children's creativity flared and they had the autonomy to create their own houses and design them however they wanted. They then used materials from the classroom to build these houses into small scale models. 接下来，在这个主题探索中，我们化身小建筑师。孩子们迸发出无限的创造力，他们可以自主设计自己的房子，随心所欲地进行构思。随后，他们利用教室里的材料，将这些房子建成了微型模型。
In the future - Our homes reimagined
AI is becoming more prevalent in our daily lives and is in our homes! We wanted to imagine what our future homes would look like - what incredible and innovative technologies and features that we will have that will make our lives easier. We then used AI to render realistic images of these houses and this was so exciting to allow the children to see their dream become a reality! 人工智能正日益融入我们的日常生活，甚至走进了我们的家中！我们想设想一下未来的家会是什么样子——届时我们将拥有哪些令人惊叹且创新的技术与功能，让我们的生活更加便捷。随后，我们利用人工智能渲染出了这些房屋的逼真图像，这让孩子们得以亲眼见证梦想成真，真是令人兴奋！
Preparing for our Exhibition
Our theme, entitled "Small Hands, Big Dreams: A Growing Future House for Earth", encompasses the full breadth of learning that the children explored during this theme. The exhibition includes a timeline of houses from the past all the way to an imagined future for homes on earth. We used a variety of recycled materials and objects found around our Kindergarten to create the displays.
