Reading Comprehension
Read the text below aloud.
Mount Everest, the tallest mountain in the world, is slowly becoming the world’s largest garbage dump. Despite cleanup , abandoned trash on the mountain, such as empty oxygen canisters and broken climbing equipment, is estimated to total a 10 tons of waste. Human feces left on the mountain are also reaching disgusting levels and water sources. There are more than 200 dead bodies of sherpas and mountaineers that remain on the mountain. The world’s highest mountain is in need of a cleanup, like much of the world in general, to eliminate man’s footprint.
