BACKGROUND & organization

background to conferences

The Fédération Nationale du Crédit Agricole and Companieros have been working together in a partnership for five years.Over the last two years, they have co-built an annual awareness plan dedicated to gender diversity. These two conferences were held as part of the #StOpE initiative signed by the Crédit Agricole Group on January 22, 2026. They were scheduled during Crédit Agricole Group’s Gender Diversity Week linked to the International Women's Day on 8th March.

format of conferences

ORGANIZATION

The two conferences lasted 1 hour each. We used the Mentimeter tool to facilitate interactions. The conference in French was moderated by Florence MASQUIN. The conference in English was moderated by Lucy de NOBLET.

Both conferences were open to all Crédit Agricole Group employees (Regional Banks, subsidiaries, entities). The remote format, via Teams, made it possible to bring together participants from all locations (Europe, Asia, America). One conference was held in French, another conference was held in English, on the same theme, simultaneously.

  • It was good that this topic was discussed openly. It also "spilled over" into other corporate-related subjects which should be developed on
  • The data on sexism
  • I didn't really know what sexism was but through the examples, the questions and answers, I was able to understand what it was
  • The treatment of the subject, in a non-militant way; the overall approach with concrete explanations on what is sexism, or not.
  • Practice with all situations, dynamic presentation
  • Excellent agency - clear, illustrated and dynamic presentation with interaction
  • Simple, effective explanations and examples. Very clear speaker
  • Clear, simple, dynamic, interactive conference
  • The presentation was really captivating from start to finish. The intonation used was clear and pleasant, which made the speech easy to follow and never monotonous. We felt a certain ease that made you want to stay attentive. I sincerely wanted to listen until the end, without picking up, because the subject was well highlighted and presented in a lively way.
  • Good format, we stay captivated
  • Very good format
  • Smooth exchanges, interesting
  • Interactive format. Good presentation that can be reused
  • Format, strong interaction.

Duration

6 occurences

21 occurences

  • Longer duration, to go further
  • Maybe a little longer to answer questions
  • Timing... too short
  • More time to exchange
  • The duration of the workshop should have been a little longer, in-depth exchanges.
  • Bring more men to these conferences because it seems to me that women were in the majority
  • Participation should be mandatory because participants are usually already aware of the subject, versus people who do not feel concerned do not participate and do not have the opportunity to change their mind or behaviour
  • I think that this is a subject that should be addressed in a mandatory manner for all employees, or at least be the subject of more training. In fact, many people still do not clearly distinguish between a joke perceived as innocuous and sexist. This shows how important it is to continue to raise awareness and inform about this topic.

Lack of depth

9 occurences

  • Distinguishing the different types of sexism: benevolent, hostile... Many people don't understand the concept of benevolent sexism. I wish the event could have gone further (it was mainly a conference for novices)
  • The topics discussed are a repetition, more useful for those who don't know about the topic
  • Addressing everyday sexism in the workplace in greater depth.

IN SUMMARY

The feedback from these two conferences are very positive, both in terms of timing and overall satisfaction (attendee feedback). The participants particularly appreciated the practical content, emphasising the relevance of the topic addressed. Some feedback reveals a need to go deeper on certain areas and to further promote awareness linked to different situations. In this perspective, it could be interesting to propose a complementary, more interactive format, leaving more space for practice, exchanges between participants and concrete examples.
