The vision for this page is a parent-friendly overview of MTSS and our student supports, with helpful references to the counselors and principals, as well as mention of MVPs. We won't get into jargon like "Tier 1" but we will explain that we require documentation and data via Parent Input Forms and Teacher Observation Logs. The image above is just a placeholder for now. It is from the MTSS Workflow and MVP Dashboard, but will be streamlined and retooled for a parent audience. We will simplify and clarify!

What is the I-SHINE Speaker Series?
The I-SHINE Network supports all students to SHINE through parent partnerships with Catholic schools. This partnership network exists to fulfill a three-fold mission and the Speaker Series is intended to provide proative, preventive information to families, illuminating issues relevant for all. Topical issues are determined by the I-SHINE Network Steering Committee. While all schools are invited to attend all programs: - Four (or more) schools will co-host each monthly Speaker event, with two morning and afternoon student assemblies on one day and two more on the next day. - An evening parent event will also be hosted each month and all evening programs will be held in Cardinal Great Hall, the Pastoral Center, 2900 Noblestown Road, Green Tree. Plenty of parking is available and RSVPs are appreciated but not required - all are welcome! When schools, students, and parents are all on the same page, communicating consistently together, great things happen for kids. To learn more about the Speaker Series, or how you can get involved and support programming, email Dr. McHugh, Director of Student Support Services at smchugh@diopitt.org.
