What is a radIologist ?

A radiologist is a doctor who uses medical imaging equipment like X‑rays, CT scans, MRIs, ultrasounds and PET scans to spot injuries, diseases or anything unusual in the body. They don’t usually take the images themselves, that’s the radiographer’s job. They do, though , study the pictures carefully and write reports that help other doctors decide on treatment .
