What brain activity sounds like
Tune into this recording of brain activity around the time the person was experiencing an IED. Each “pop” is the sound of a single neuron firing, and each of the three types of neurons involved has a different pitch. A few seconds in, you can hear a peak of activity around the time the IED is happening.
